Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Bulktify uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience.

Last Updated: January 8, 2026

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as your login status, preferences, and settings.

Cookies serve several important purposes:

  • Authentication: Remember that you're logged in so you don't have to sign in on every page
  • Preferences: Store your language, theme, and other settings
  • Security: Protect against fraudulent activity and unauthorized access
  • Analytics: Understand how visitors use our platform to improve user experience

Cookies can be session cookies (temporary, deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (remain on your device until they expire or you delete them).

2. Why We Use Cookies

Bulktify uses cookies for the following purposes:

2.1 Essential Platform Functionality

Some cookies are absolutely necessary for our platform to function properly. Without these cookies, you would not be able to log in, access your account, or use core features.

2.2 Security & Fraud Prevention

We use cookies to protect your account from unauthorized access, prevent fraudulent transactions, and detect suspicious activity. These cookies help us keep your data safe.

2.3 User Preferences

Cookies remember your preferences such as language selection, theme (light/dark mode), and dashboard layout settings. This ensures a consistent experience across your sessions.

2.4 Performance & Analytics

We use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our platform. This helps us identify areas for improvement, fix bugs, and develop new features that meet your needs.

2.5 Communication Preferences

Cookies help us remember your communication preferences, such as whether you've opted in or out of marketing emails or dismissed certain notifications.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

We categorize cookies into three types based on their purpose and whether they can be disabled:

3.1 Essential Cookies (Cannot Be Disabled)

These cookies are strictly necessary for our platform to function. Disabling these cookies will prevent you from using Bulktify's Services.

  • Authentication Tokens: Firebase Authentication cookies that keep you logged in
  • Session Management: Track your session and maintain state across pages
  • Security: CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) protection tokens
  • Load Balancing: Ensure requests are routed to the correct server

Duration: Session cookies (deleted on browser close) or 30 days for persistent authentication

3.2 Analytics Cookies (Optional - Can Be Disabled)

These cookies collect information about how visitors use our platform. All data is anonymized and aggregated.

  • Vercel Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics, page views, performance metrics
  • Internal Analytics: Feature usage tracking to identify popular and underused features
  • Error Tracking: Sentry cookies for debugging and error monitoring (no PII collected)

Duration: 1-2 years

How to Disable: You can disable analytics cookies through your browser settings (see Section 5 below).

3.3 Preference Cookies (Optional - Can Be Disabled)

These cookies remember your choices and preferences to provide a personalized experience.

  • Language Selection: Remember your preferred language
  • Theme: Light/dark mode preference (if implemented)
  • Dashboard Layout: Remember collapsed sidebars, table column preferences
  • Notification Preferences: Remember dismissed announcements

Duration: 1 year

Impact of Disabling: You will need to reset your preferences each time you visit.
